I’d passed over this book in the past because of the cover. Don’t! The cover is misleading. This is very much a romance among other things. This is a ntm author and narrator and I was pleasantly surprised. On to book 2!

I read this book years ago and never forgot it but I did forget the title....it went down as my favorite book for years and I've only read it once...I searched for it for so long...it almost felt impossible to find, it was to the point where I thought maybe I had made it all up in my mind lol...after all these years I finally found it and read it again and it's still my favorite ❤

Not your typical heroine, loved it, borrowed part 2 from the public library and loved that too. Got upset a few times but it was definitely worth it. Worth the credit.

I loved this book.It was exciting and atrue page turner.My most memorable moment is when Father and so. meet.I liked the way the situation turned out.I wish there was a sequel for it.

When the smoke clears there are also second chances, redemption, LOVE, loyalty and most importantly FORGIVNESS. This book also shows how the love between parents never fully dies out. Very well written and didn't carry on unnecessarily. The inspiration was a tear jerker and heart warmer.

Mishi where have you been girl?!! She made this book come alive. Love this unconventional love story. I get nervous when it’s one narrator for multiple characters. She did the damn thing. Running now to listen to part two because it’s that GOOD.
