Great YA Read
While a smidge predictable in places (as most ya novels are), it was overall a really great story. Definitely recommend! ❤️
I felt like narrator took away from it-- I kept rewinding trying to listen and put my intonations in my head instead of just hearing the flatness of the reader. I loved the descriptions of different elements and the variety of magical elements in addition to the expected (witches, vampires, etc).
I'm excited to read the next one!
