Captivating Read

An excellent story of the author's personal war stories delicately interwoven with the Christian faith. Excellent balance between the two topics keeps the reader engaged. Highly recommend to fellow believers and veterans.

Brilliant and beautiful

This is unique in the way he wove the Word in and through his life and stories. I am the mother of a Special Forces soldier and he shared this book with me. I have seen positive changes in my son with his family since his reading of this book.

Could not put this down!

I listened to this all at once, I could not put it down. Hung on every word. Recommend to all, especially those who have seen combat, traumatic events, or those in jobs that put you harms way. Already bought copies for veteran friends & family.

Stories of Parallel

I learned so much from this book! Jeff’s war stories paralleled many Bible stories and, as a prior Ranger, I found it funny, enlightening, heartbreaking and eye opening in many ways. But what was most poignant were his connections and travels to the Bible and Holy Land— making intimate connections to the text, terrain and humanity of Christ Jesus- particularly YHWH! Must read!

Amazing work and such a beautiful way of weaving lessons learned in with scripture. This is definitely now in my top five and will be one I buy and share with family and friends! Thanks Jeff, great work sir 🫡
