Teddy Miller doesn't remember the "Bear Week" party either, much less the Abercrombie & Fitch model wannabe next to him. When Nino and Teddy glimpse each other the next morning, it's loathing at first sight. Instead of exchanging phone numbers, they exchange insults and vow never to see each other again. In Provincetown, however, escaping a trick best forgotten isn't easy. Mutual friends and chance circumstances keep Nino and Teddy in each other's orbit. But are they fighting each other or the attraction growing between them? The answer lies amid Provincetown's windswept dunes and the night neither of them can recall.

When Diva met Hairy

I must admit that the opening scene was genuinely funny. Here you have the gorgeous, vain, model waking up to find himself naked. With a short, hairy guy, who is the antithesis of what he finds attractive.
When listened to the first story in this series, I didn't really care for Nino a great deal. I rarely like characters like him. But he's somewhat toned down in this story and it was fun watching him fall head over heels for the furry little dude he initially found so unattractive when they woke up together.
I liked Teddy quite a bit and his dog was over-the-top adorable.
As with the first story, the guys spend a huge chunk apart, interacting more with the side characters than each other so if that bugs you, consider this fair warning. This is also less X-rated than the first story, and it has more banter which I enjoyed.
Not bad and probably my favorite in this series. I don't think I need to say anything about the narration because it's TJ (aka Tristan James). He's consistently amazing in all the stories he's narrated that I've listened to so far so it goes without saying that he did an excellent job.

Love Tristan James - fun series

Nino wakes up one morning to find a big ole bear (Teddy – for real) in his bed and is immediately disgusted with himself and the situation. Neither of them remembers how they ended up in Nino’s bed, much to Nino’s dismay, but they aren’t happy about it. Nino is very vain and hates all things hairy. Teddy is reverse-vain and hates all things “plastic” or overly manicured.
Nino and Teddy exchange snarky words and agree to never see one another again if they can possibly help it.
Of course, this is Provincetown during Bear Week, so it is no wonder that at various social occasions Nino and Teddy run into one another. They snark each time, but slowly, with each encounter, find more and more to like about one another – in a way they would never have predicted.
They have some hurdles to over come: Nino’s rules for life which pretty much make any relationship impossible. Teddy’s unrequited love for Brody. Nino’s vanity which is rooted in a bad childhood as a “fatty”. Teddy’s disdain for anyone who “works out” which is rooted in his failed relationship with Brody.
With the help of friends, the love of a good dog, and a little bit of liquid courage, the two manage to break down barriers and find a way into the other’s heart.
I loved this series and thought this was the best of the bunch. I found Nino and Teddy to be funny, realistically stereotypical, troubled but hopeful. Louie, the dog, was an added bonus!
I enjoyed seeing the characters from earlier books involved in the story line and really liked the relationship between Irene and her new love interest.
I love sap and this has plenty in it, the boys really do find love. Oh yeah, and we get to see what happens next for Zach and Van – added bonus!
I give it a 4 stars – I really liked it

Now it’s listed the narrator is Tristan Jamesin but I gotta tell you, it’s Tristan James. I’m not sure what the deal is with the name change, but since he is my hero, I can definitely recognize his voice. So, if it’s a disguise, it didn’t fool me ☺
Anyhow, he did another wonderful job with this narration. His voice is so easy to listen to and his emphasis on words and “acting” was just right. It’s hard for men to perform women’s voices, but he does a nice job, not too squeaky or annoying.
I give it 5 of 5 stars

Overall 4.5 for the book/audio combination – I loved it!
