I like Adler

I like the author. The reader has a pleasant voice. I would say the performance is of professional quality, but includes lots of errors. There are lots of unedited errors in the recording. The reader repeats many sentences.

The title is kind of misleading. This is a book to advise parents and teachers on how to address under performance of children in school.

A little fast

I think a little slower might be better. I tried to slow it down, but the voice of the 0.8 speed sounds weird.

Interesting

I found this book quite interesting. Many of the author's descriptions and examples matched up with myself and people I know. It has led me to mull over my upbriging with new understanding and how aspects of it has affected me in adulthood in ways I haven't before considered.

The editing of the narration had issues though. Several dozens of times the narrator stopped mid-sentence and repeated something he just said. Sometimes this was due to him saying the wrong word but most of the time it seems to be just a stutter in his speech. It's not horrible but it was frequent, slightly distracting and could have been easily edited out.

Missing Chapters!

The content is great for any budding counselor or psychologist.
However, this version is incomplete and omits the last ~90 pages of the original text.

The content outweighs the narrator

There are hundreds of audio editing programs available to everyone, many of which are free and very user friendly. Keep this in mind as you hear this narrator leave in every mistake he makes throughout the entire book...

mind boggling, really. Excellent content, though.

Great Read

Adler had many discoveries, and many delusions.

Many sentences are repeated, so no sound engineer.

Ok book, terrible audio quality

Needs to be edited for glaring audio errors, but it has a decent thesis that is deep dived

Reader is weird

Reader for some reason keeps keeps repeating words. That is very disorienting disorienting when listening

Great but Incomplete, 4 chapters missing

It’s overall great, just by comparing to the book version, there’s 4 chapters missing, not sure why

Breathe

The Narrator reads as one constant run on sentence… no breaks or pauses. Even at a reduced speed it is difficult to transition between points.
