A Great Listen!

This collection of Warren Buffett's thoughts and philosophy is a must for anyone who wants to succeed in business and investing. His secrets to success in life and his down to earth humor make this a fascinating, most enjoyable audio book.

Enjoyably informative and captivating!

I really enjoyed this book and took about 10 pages of notes! There were many great quotes, principles and experiences to learn from. I was completely new to Warren Buffett and came away from this book as an admirer of his work. His honesty and diligent, goal-oriented work are characteristics worth emulating in business ideas as well as lifestyle. The author did a very thorough job of representing the concepts with actual stories from Buffett's life.

If you are new to investing and curious about it, I highly recommend this book!

Thoroughly enjoyed the book. Although the earlier reviews are split 50/50 the book was great. You got a sense of Warren and his world through the often funny text and constant focus on what makes sense. Well worth the credit!

Interesting

Would you try another book from Janet Lowe and/or Sean Pratt?

Not sure. I really enjoyed the family history and exploration of the relationships. I also enjoyed hearing about Buffett's philosophies, however part of it read somewhat dry.

Don't know enough narrators to recommend one.

Stick to a simple philosophy and trust your instincts. Research, research, research!

Liked the book because I like Warren Buffet. Book itself is tedious in spots, and only positive aspects of Buffet are presented. More character sketch and entertainment than investment insight.

Nice way to pass some time

My major problem with this audiobook is structural. I want to hear Warren Buffet and his bon mots; this book spends far too much time on the words of his critics, family, shareholders, and others. The nuggets of wisdom from Buffet dominate the first half; you can pretty much stop halfway through and not miss any interesting content.

Entertaining peek into Buffett's mind

Great audio book. Buffett is a genius, this book provides a humorous and entertaining peek inside his disciplined system of becoming a billionaire. Absolutely worthwhile.

This is a great story about a fascinating man. It is more of a generalization of financial advice. He is a man with great quotes. Many times quite funny. Loved it.
