Very Satisfying

Any additional comments?

'Warehouse of the Dead' is an A+ mystery/thriller book that I would happily recommend to any friends who enjoy this genre. Moore spins a tale about a man who is down on his luck (in a huge way) and finds himself embroiled in a child murder plot that involves rich authority figures, religious nut cases and some good old fashioned sexual tension. The characters in this book are deeply complex, well thought out, believable and fascinating. Moore does a fantastic job of keeping his audience riveted and the romance feeling authentic. I also appreciate that his female characters are as strong, intelligent and bad ass as their male counterparts. Overall, this book was an excellent listen.

Henry McNulty is an absolutely incredible narrator. His voice is soulful and deep for the protagonist, though he flawlessly switches between characters of different genders and nationalities (there is some serious international accent action going on that is superb). I would recommend both this author and this narrator 10/10!

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

It's OK.

This is the second book I've listened to by this author and much like the first, I found it equal parts good as I did find it all over the place. The overall plot and story felt a little disjointed and not cohesive. I can't even place why the book wasn't better, I just felt like it was...... too much of nothing really.

The plot sounded good, gifted kids are being killed because a cult thinks that one of them could have the mark of The Beast on them. But is it really the mark they are looking for? Or is it a cover up of something more? While there was parts I did enjoy, for the most I found myself disassociating from the story and my mind wandered. I really didn't care about the characters nor the story and didn't connect with it.

As for the narrator. Maybe it was the fact that I really didn't care what happened near the end, but I found the narrator to only read the story and not bring any life to it. He didn't have a lot of tones nor a lot of cadences for the characters and story. I would try another by him though, just to give him another chance.

I was voluntarily provided this free copy by the author, narrator, or publisher. This in no way affected nor influenced my thoughts.

Not that great

This was a struggle to finish. Overall the storyline was good, however this book was executed poorly. It was choppy and disconnected. Throughout the book i was hoping for it to get better, but ot didn't.
