Great read!!

1st time I have felt compelled to leave a review on here. Loved this book, the 2nd can’t come quick enough!

Just Wow!!

Love this story! The narrators did a superb job. I cannot wait for the 2nd book to be released!!

interesting world building

the story is good. I would give it a 4.5 if I could nothing was bad. the world building is interesting but a little secluded we didn't get to know many characters except the two leads so it felt a bit single focused at times, but other than that, and the FL making me annoyed at her winning and blaming the ML for things he had no control over, it was nice.

Interesting Concept

I have such mixed feelings about this book.

Did I enjoy it? Yes.
Could I recommend it? I don’t know.

I think the premise and concept was very interesting, I just would have liked to see it all developed a little bit more. I listened to the audiobook and enjoyed hearing it come to life!

The timeline for me was just so short. I understand why but it happens over less than a 48 time period. While I get that’s probably supposed to be exhilarating, but I just found it hard to fall in love with the character and their relationship. I really, really wanted to. But I don’t know, it feels like something is missing to me.

Amazing fantasy world

The world and characters and different beings has so much potential! I also love a lead male that will do anything to protect the female lead but I can’t stand the lead female 😭 she’s tooooo stubborn and is just annoying 😭😭😭

I love the dual perspective

I need book 2!!! I was sucked in from the beginning but the pacing felt a little fast or maybe the book was too short I need more!

Wonderful Intro to Series

I am a huge Sylvia Mercedes fan. This book is no exception. I love the intensity from ch 1 in this beautifully written enemies to lovers storyline.

Umm… I’m not sure what I just finished. For a title like warbride I expected more action from the FMC….

When does the 2nd book come out?

They call it a trilogy but don’t say when 2and 3 will be released, I forget the story line when so far apart!

Great listen.
