Story and twist have been surprising and engaging with both stories!

I disliked the rhythm of the reader. Reading was often disjointed and without inflection. It was challenging to discern what character was speaking.

Good story, terrible narration

I had to quit listening and returned the audio book. I went to the library to find the book and finish it. The story, characters and narrator’s voice are fine. The narration is disjointed that it actually made it hard to follow. The worst by far that I’ve ever listened to. That’s quite an accomplishment since I have over 800 books in my library. Very disappointing!

Great book

Didn’t love the narration but love the book and its characters. Can’t wait for more.

Author should stick with writing not reading

I have loved her books ! but reading from the manuscript in a rushed manner does not give the book justice

Love the characters, but…

I love the characters and storyline, and the authors voice is fine. But, it’s clear that they used AI or a computer to piece together the audio. Not a good flow, and inflection is off in a lot of areas. I wish I would have just read the book instead of listening.
