I'm very fascinated by things like this, I won't say that I totally believe in everything but I think it's very interesting to read about it. Absolutely a great read if you want to learn what voodoo is all about. Very educational.

Very nice

I have great interest in mystical religions and Voodoo is one of those. In fictional movies, it usually goes with dark magic; yet the opposite fact can be found in this book. I actually did not read it out of ambitions to practice Voodoo, I just wanted to know and understand more about this religion.

very inspirational very informative talked about the Loas, gris gris, floor washing, crossing and uncrossing, and the voodoo doll and how it is used. This book I would recommend to any one wanting to learn about voodoo.

Awesome

This book contains the history of Voodoo, a long one that we cannot accurately trace back. It also presents the Voodoo's nature, where we come to know the term 'Loa". For those who are interested, this book gives instructions on how to do the spells, healing charm, protection charm and so on of the kind. It is not to harm people like some may prejudicate, it is meant to protect. Interesting read, indeed!

I was hoping for few drawings in regards to this part of my research but nothing that the internet can inform me about. great addition

informative, but the narrator is awful

I had to double check to see if this was virtual voice or not because it definitely sounds like it. Don't get me wrong, the book is amazingly informative! I just think that it's very disingenuous to have somebody whiter than snow reading a book on voodoo and voodoo practices.
