Changed my viewpoint

I like that there is history held about the subject. I grew up religious and had preconceived notions before getting into the book. Right away, I love how Mari Silva opened my once afraid, fresh perspective to one of approval and openness to a new world.

Very quick and easy overview of the religion. Nothing too in-depth is good for gaining a broad understanding of the religion. Interesting audible.

good book just got to get passed the bad pronunciations, that was the hardest part but it was fairly accurate otherwise.

It goes in-depth. It's written and directed very well in parts explicating the different looks of the religion. This is the most useful book on Santeria I have ever learn. An amazing insight into Santeria.

I really enjoyed listening to this audible and learning how our ancestors are always guiding us. Now I have a better understanding of the Orishas and their power. Excellent.
