Acerca de esta escucha

Gia Santella stands out as an indomitable new heroine in this action-packed thriller series from USA Today best-selling author Kristi Belcamino.

Exotic cars. Glittering nightclubs. Steamy interludes with beautiful strangers.

Gia Santella is all about the fast life. Ever since her parents died in a tragic accident, she’s been burning through her inheritance, chasing desperate highs in the hopes of forgetting her past.

But when an unexpected letter arrives, the past finally catches up to her.

Because her parents’ death was no accident...and now their killer is coming for her.

Armed with nothing but her own instincts, Gia must go undercover to escape the dangerous people on her trail. Each wrong turn could be her last, but she refuses to go down without a fight.

She’s been running for too long. Now it’s time to show the world what happens when you mess with Gia Santella.

Fans of JD Robb, Lisa Gardner, Atomic Blonde, and Killing Eve will love the suspense, romance, and twists of this fast-moving thriller.

How does one describe Gia, she flees to the big city after her parents died. Living the high life, burning the candle and trying to fill a void in her. Until she receives a letter and her world changed. She has a purpose, she was now focus on one thing, to find out why, and to stay ahead of the killer.
She is gusty, determined, giving us non stop action, excitement and adventure. Narration was superb you felt like you knew Gia and how her life changed who she was. Wells done and enjoyed both the story and narration. Given audio for my voluntary review

Vendetta was my introduction to Kristi Belcamino’s writing/storytelling. What an introduction, I’m hooked on the Gia Santella crime thriller series. Vendetta follows Gia from being a spoiled rich kid to a person who comes to realize life is more than staying drunk and shopping. The action in this story is very intense and I some instances it turns into a real rollercoaster ride. Sonja Field’s narration truly brings Gia to life. I’m looking forward to reading/listening to the rest of this series.

Excellent Action story!

Sonja Field made this story of an overemotional wretch worth listening to. From the story description, you'd think this young woman Gia would be a warrior since she clearly has the makings to become quite formidable!! Since I already bought the next two books about midway through when she decided to sober up and train, I sincerely hope so. Gia drinks way too much and feels sorry for herself more than she drinks. She has very little by way of investigative skills because instead of putting clues together, every tip becomes a reason to drink too much, vomit and use her martial arts skills to throw herself into danger she's entirely too messed up to handle. Gia starts off being observant, planning well, ready to roll with the punches then stupidly throws herself into the mix after willfully sabotaging herself. I get it, she's 23, grieving and spoiled....poor little rich girl with absolutely no gratefulness for the things she has that others don't. If the next book gets better, I'll definitely say so. If not, I wasted the credit.
