Good Plot but Weak Writing

I loved the plot and the Polyamorous relationship but the writing reminds me of a fanfiction. The main character follows a few common tropes but the biggest is how easily she accepts the poly nature of things. I find it extremely unrealistic as a poly minded woman myself. Our society doesn't accept polyamorous relationships well, even if it is more common in her world.

I also think that the male narrator needs to work on emotions when he reads. The way he spoke didn't match the way the characters felt and they all sounded the same and peppy.

Fun First Book

This is a romantic X-Man vibe series. The big difference are Variants, who connect with people with power to give them even more power. Normally a variant has one bond and unless they are family they become a lover. Evelyn finds out she is a variant and not just to one person but four and she falls madly in love with three of them. Complications arise with the 4th who does not want the bond.

Loved this book

Looking forward to the next addition in the series. The narrators enhanced the layers of each character.

Great story and brilliantly different

As an RH goes this is a stellar start to a series. It’s a slow burn so far but very sensual and you really feel the strong bond within the RH. All the characters are well developed. Can’t wait to start the next book!

Blown away

It doesn't happen often that I find I love an audiobook even more than I loved the ebook. Equally? Yes. More? Rarely. Being in a reread-mood lately, I like to explore audio versions of ebooks I've read before, simply because it is perfect for multitasking. I know the story and I have my hands free, win win! Well, I got sucked in this audiobook so hard, it felt like I read it for the first time. Eve's inquisitive nature, Alec's surly and moody disposition, Tyler's natural leadership skills, Ethan's bubbly personality and Josh being in tune with Eve's emotional state. The dual narration really lifted this book to an even higher level, while I didn't think that was possible.

Amazing. New Favorite RH

This is book one and it was amazing. So much happens and Eve learns so much more. Friendships are tested. Love & Loyalty. Family, you won’t be disappointed. I finished all 3 books in 3 days. I couldn’t stop.
