I was hesitant, but proved wrong!

I have been listening to the Camulod Chronicles in order and was bummed out when this book was next. I wanted to carry on with Arthur and Merlins story, not go back to King Uther the Bully. I could not have been more wrong! I loved this book, I loved that it answered questions I didn't think it would, I loved hearing Uthers' tale from start to finish. I loved it!

this book was written to answer 2 questions. it answered 1 but it told the entire story from a new perspective

The best there is for Arithiran Historical Fiction

Extremely well researched, Jack Whyte paints a thorough picture of the Britain after the Romas left.
Love the entire series and the narrator does it justice. 5 stars all around!

Wasn't sure I wanted this part of the story but it was very necessary and enjoyable
