Resumen del Editor

A playboy heir needs a man to marry, right now.

After spending half his life dodging his duty to the crown, the rebel heir to the Rosavian throne has been told in no uncertain terms that it’s time to settle down. Crown Prince Leopold has one month and a vetted list of suitable princesses, and he will announce his engagement during Rosavia’s Royal Ball. But Leo’s got his own ideas about what really suits him.

Royal librarian Edvin Blom is good at not attracting attention. Shy and self-conscious of his stutter, he’s used to being overlooked and more than happy to stay in the background. At least, until the crown prince with a wild reputation shows up at the library’s new opening and decides to flirt with Edvin’s sister.

Edvin isn’t at all what Leo thought he wanted, but turns out to be everything he can’t stay away from. Edvin’s been burned by falling for someone out of his league before, though. And believing that Leo has really fallen for him? While Edvin’s drowning in his own doubts and insecurities, that might prove impossible...unless love gives them both a reason to come up for air.

Welcome to the tiny European country of Rosavia, where roses ramble over alpine slopes and princes fall for the men of their dreams. Every Rosavia Royals book happens simultaneously, so books can be listened to on their own, or in any order. But keep an eye out for familiar faces around the palace!

Holy Leaping Library Science!

I have lived all the books in this series. Funnily enough, this one is the last one I read/ listened to. I love the idea of a concurrently running series with the characters popping in and out of each one. I adore Leo and Eddie!!! And Kieran Flitton's voice should be illegal, especially with the low sexy parts. Sheesh! Be careful where you listen to it. I highly recommend this whole series of books!!!!!

The Narrator was absolutely amazing

The narrator saved this book. He's such an amazing actor. The story is decent and the relationships are sweet and Edvin is adorable but I could not stand how slow everything went. This book is like 80% inner monologue and 20% actual dialogue or action. It drove me crazy waiting for the next line of the conversation sometimes. The sex was good though, it was mostly action instead of thoughts. Usually.
I also have to commend the author for not curing Edvin's stutter. It was nice that it wasn't just used as a nervous tick that magically went away because of love.
Edvin and Leo did have a very cute relationship and except for the fact that they didn't dwell too much on the prince's random bisexual awakening, it was a mostly realistic progression. I was very invested. Just turn the speed up to like 1.30 and cultivate your patience and it's enjoyable enough

A Modern Cinderella Tale With A Hot Gay Twist!

Congratulations Stella Sterling on delivering a modern Cinderella tale with our 23 year old (Cinder-fella) Edvin Blom enjoying working as a junior royal librarian but working long hours and barely scaping by to keep his four younger siblings together as a family. Instead of an evil stepmother as his protagonist he is faced with his evil ex-boyfriend, Hans, Head Curator for the Royal Library.

Eddie brings his two oldest siblings, Oliver and Linnea, to the grand opening and dedication of a new Royal Library building and the two siblings are thrilled and excited to be at an event one of the Royals will be attending, When Linnea attracts the attention of Prince Leopold, the straight playboy crown prince of the realm, Eddie goes into brotherly younger sister protection mode, telling the prince a firm no to his offer of a very private princely tour of the royal family rose garden. Rather than being offended Prince Leopold is intrigued by the quiet little librarian suddenly going from mouse to lion.

The supporting characters of Leo's Royal family, Hugo, and the furball terrorist Treble, plus the Blom fami!y siblings will keep you grinning, smiling and chuckling along while Edvin deals with his feeling of inadequacy and Leo tries to figure out how or if Eddie is a right fit into his life as the crown prince.

Narrator Kieran Flitton characterizations are perfection and his Leo is flamming H-O-T !!! Immersive reading is the way to go with this one, I recommend both audible and kindle editions.

Too fairytale

Needs at least a bit of drama for interest. Too perfect and sweet for my tastes. The worse thing that happened throughout the story is Edwin getting locked in a room. Geeze

Slow Start

This is a slow start to a multi author series. It's a good sweet story that moves a little slow but the narration is wonderful and really makes it worth the listen.

Boring and repetitive

The narration was wonderful. The story was okay. The problem it is extremely repetitive, the author likes to go over and over information that we already know! Also, could the author have done little bit of research into colors!? "his brown eyes" "my favorite color is brown" how freaking boring is that! Most of the chapters were filled with repetitive inner dialog, so there's not to much meat to the story in general. I had to increase the speed just to get through the story and yeah i skipped around. I am glad that it wont be the same author writing the second book! The only reason why i started this series is because of E. Davis, who is awesome! find him and get all of his books!!!

Oh the Monologues! @@ couldn’t finish

This book has a lot of potential... it’s the first Stella Starling book that I didn’t love - so I’m very, very disappointed . Maybe if I hadn’t gone in with expectations I would have been able to finish it but Christ ... the internal monologues were so often and so long that I found myself forgetting what was happening and/or what the conversations were about. It was very difficult to even get a feel for the other characters because the focus was solely on MC’s internal progress . PLUS
the author(s) could have taken 5% from each chapter to include a couple chapters on 1)actual plot - like instead summarizing a week of activity getting to know Eddie’s siblings with three sentences “on Monday we made dinner, on Tuesday I helped with homework” actually lay out the events/conversations
2) Leo spends paragraph upon paragraph upon paragraph sorting out what he likes about Eddie and absolutely NO time on the transition from being a partying womanizer to *poof!* obsessing over a man- there’s maybe one sentence where he says (to himself of course) “I’ve got the same parts I know how they work” and that’s it... there’s not even a paragraph from Leo’s point of view of the realization . Edwin meets the Prince and is invited to the Palace the next chapter the prince is all “he’s not coming well I’m going to his house”
It seems completely obvious that this book was either written by two separate people that didn’t collaborate on their characters/chapters or written around bullet points to coincide with the other books in the series .
I fast forwarded to the last 2 chapter just get the HEA. I’ll probably go back and listen to the rest one day when I’m cleaning my closet or something boring when I need background noise

The narrator has a pleasant voice but talks a little too slow - I changed the speed . He emotes well but should have some sort of obviously tone change when he’s relating speaking versus internal thoughts .
