This is such a fun audiobook. Grandparents have such wisdom and many times we don't take time to pick their brains or ask questions about family history or traditions. I wish I had done this more with my grandma.

Great Idea

I loved asking my grandparents these questions. You will learn all about them with the questions in this audiobook. It strengthened our connection as well as me learning a lot of fascinating things about their lives!

Unique

This seems like a nice way for my preteen children to get to know my parents on a more personal level. I like the idea of more books like this. I could very well see a project where my kids create a scrap book with old and new pictures as well as several answers to these questions. I feel like this will be something we do in late summer or early fall at our Camp. unique idea for sure.

What a great idea for a book!

I love, love, love this workbook! I'm going to answer the questions and give it as a gift to my nephew so that my memories will live on long after I'm gone. Great for a birthday, Christmas gift or anytime. Don't wait until it's too late to preserve your treasured family tales.

This book has some excellent prompts and questions, it is funny because I was just discussing with a friend the other day that I feel like my generation is so disconnected from our elders, but this book will surely help us get to know their history and stories so much better. Love it !

Our Valuable Grandparents

It's not only a fantastic read, but it's also a fantastic way to spend time to know the most influential person in your family. The 199 questions outlined in this book offer a practical and essential guide to understand those who shaped and molded our principles and created our future.  You'll also realize the genuine connection you share with them. What an excellent way to connect with your grandparents.

Not just for grandparents anymore :)

While I applaud the author's intentions, I think this book has FAR MORE uses than simply grandparents. There's an entire generation of our citizens in nursing homes with no one visiting them! Wouldn't it be great if some grad students made it their mission to go and visit many of them and ask these questions, then write a book about the wisdom wasting away in our older adult "warehouses"? There may be answers to many world problems that will be lost if we allow this generation to go extinct without capturing their wisdom.
