It was a sweet little story about a second chance romance. I enjoyed it. It was light and not heavy with drama. I wish it had a different male voice though.

Cute little read

The first time I read this one, I was on a plane and fell asleep, so sure. The 2nd time, it was just really hard to get into. I listened to it while on my morning walks. However, I constantly found my mind wondering. I'm not a big fan of the narrator. Although, they are good at using different voices for each character, there's no emotion behind them. This makes the story telling a bit dry for me.

I felt like there was some untold story, so a part 2 would be nice. This looks like it's the first book in an unofficial series, so I plan to read the other 2. The other 2 characters are introduced in this book. Unfortunately, I believe it's the same narrator.

The overall storyline was okay but the flip flop from past to present and transitions between chapters was super confusing for me. Maybe it’s the writing style, but I couldn’t finish it and really hate I used my monthly credit for this one :/
