This was so real, so true. She started with the best of intentions but trump showed who he was. She spent MONTHS with him, attempting to show him on a good light but he just continually proves that he (trump) is an idiot.

Definitely Unbelievable but Yeah it Happened

Katy Tur gave me new insight to how Trump won the election. As horrific as this has been and will continue to be, at least I understand better now how it happened.

Great and difficult story extremely well written

A funny, interesting, scary and thought provoking story written and read in an entertaining and engaging way. I laughed out loud many times while listening to this.

Nice retelling by "little Katy"

I enjoyed this book and Katy Tur's perspective on the campaign. I do find it telling that in over a year of covering the Trump campaign, she has not one single compliment or kind word to say about the man. I also found all her complaints about her job as tiresome to read. Is it important to me how she had to run for a plane or drag her bag, like the rest of us don't have to deal with the same dilemmas? The best parts of the book were some of the close up encounters and experiences, such as the Bush Brothers steaks being passed off as Trump steaks, but I would have liked to hear a little more balanced review of the candidate. When I read about how 91% of the media coverage since President Trump's inauguration has been negative, it makes me think she is just another one of the media herd. There is no human being who is all bad, but if you read this book, you will think Trump is. Balanced perspective would be nice, but you won't find that in this book.

Insight!

Thank you Katy Tur for providing us with insight from behind the scenes and on the ground. As much as you may not want to relive the campaign for our 45th President, you'll be glad you did. Katy shares her personal struggles with being a reporter in the age of Trump but, st the same time, doesn't personalize it. She's a pro!

It Truly is Unbelievable!!

Loved this book and especially loved hearing it told by Katie! Every time I would tell someone to read it, I would end up saying that it was unbelievable ‘. Oh and by the way, that is the title! Katie, please come to our book club late in October or early November in Denver CO. I will email you the date!

Enlightening

She offered unique insight into the Trump campaign. She also clarifies what it means to be a journalist, something that I think is very important for all of us to understnad in this "fake news" era.
