I found it to be a bit on the slow side

it was ok but after some time it just was not there for me u I could not say it was worth it or not.

Intense listening

I loved it so much that I couldn't stop listening to it. The narration was great and intense she kept me on edge each time she did a character. I recommend you listen to the entire series it's worth your time and it keeps you wondering what is next.

Holding out for more

I'm loving the stories in this series and in this book I'm happy that the Omega is finally standing up for herself, but the endings are always leave things hanging some. I hope that the next book when its hit audiobooks finalizes everything.

Interesting

I love Abby and Jae together. I found the concept of shapeshifting fascinating. This is a stand alone book in the series. it had the right mixture of suspense and romance. I dont want to give anything away so no spoilers here.

AWESOME and Exciting Love Story

I absolutely loved this book. It was exciting throughout. The author did such an awesome job writing these characters in the storyline. I am hoping that there will be more books with these characters ongoing. I can’t seem to get enough. You won’t be disappointed. And of course, Abby‘s narration is perfect. Different voice inflections for each character is done is unbelievable. She is fantastic as always.

This story was original, the characters were very likable, it had a compelling level danger and it was a truly enjoyable listen.

Great story, characters, and performance!

I did wonder if this is actually book 2 in the series. It's as if the cover art for book 4 accidentally got slapped onto book 2 in the series. Does anyone else think this? (If not, where are books 2 and 3?)

Love this series!

I am so hooked! This series keeps getting better and better. Jae and Abby Craden are unbelievable together!

I LOVE Jae and all her writing. And paired with Abby Craden in this series…AMAZING!! Even though Abby Craden is a fantasying narrator with any book! Now, can we please get book 2 and 3 finished so we can listened to those. And seems 5 & 6 are on their way too! Let’s go, I need these in my Library collection.

So this book was a mix of romance, suspense, and self-discovery set in her Shape-Shifter universe. It was the next book from Second Nature book.

The characters are rich and multidimensional, and her exploration of identity, prejudice, and trust adds depth to the story. The mystery is gripping, and the themes resonate without feeling heavy-handed. The lesbian sexual tension between the characters were gripping. However I felt like the love between the two women got a little rushed. I expected some kind of gran gesture of love. Or at least a buildup of honesty of love. You one of those, “I’m afraid but I can’t live without you. I love you so much it hurts staying away from you.” That kind of thing. Btw this wasn’t in the book so don’t worry. No spoilers here! Lol

Overall, I like the story about the shape-shifters and their community.
