I've followed MM for years, including Renner's theories on the case. Since he received so much negative criticism, I wanted to know more about how he came to his conclusions because there are interesting points. The methods and content were unimpressive, and he includes irrelevant and random stories about getting lap dances. He also does not possess the vocal talent for an audio book.

I must admit I have been waiting for this book to come out for a while now; it was worth the wait!
It's very detailed and even though I am following this case and know almost every detail from the podcasts it is still on the "edge of your seat" seemingly every chapter. Can't wait to see what's next from him....

Excellent story!

After following this case and podcast recently, I thought I knew everything there was to learn but this was full of additional information that connected a lot of thoughts and lingering ideas and theories. I recommend to anyone who like true crime mysteries and a must for anyone following the story. I must admit, I expected this to be not as good as the podcast but this is the full story, from beginning to end, not just theories discussed.

So good! Some graphic detail but a very well told story and very relatable. i can't wait to listen again!

Interesting But Ultimately Unsatisfying

Very interesting look at a reporter’s obsession with a cold case story, but full of tangents that go nowhere. The main story and conclusion could have been told in less time, felt stretched out to make a longer read. I enjoy true crime tales but **spoiler alert** wished for resolution.
