A very knowledgeable understanding of the powers that be. With finances rolling around by some interesting characters. The undermining the share prices causing fear and confusion. Felt Real

Don't know much about high finance, short selling, or real politique, but it sounded real and I may have learned a little and enjoyed a lot.

Yawn

This was almost painful to get through. The story took forever to reach a climax which was anti-climatic. you can only talk about financial markets for so long before you lose the interest of the average reader. I won't even bother with the constant bringing up of climate and carbon emissions while there was talk of a military battle. I would say if your looking for an exciting read with international intrigue this ain't it.
