Can't Recommend this Series Enough

This is an interesting story that is easy to get into. I've felt a number of emotions while reading it, and I enjoy that the story isn't predictable - You never know what way things are going to go.

At no point was the narration distracting. The narration was evenly paced, and delivered well. I enjoy that there are more books to this series, and that the narrators do the entire series.

I've left my review general because I feel like these points apply towards the whole series. The first books are about the protagonist, Leslie, and her relationship with a different "supernatural" - Trial by Moon, is about her relationship with Ben, a werewolf. The next book, Trial by Thrall, is about Leslie's relationship with Tristan, a Fae. The third book, Trial by Blood, is about her relationship with Myca, a vampire. There is a fourth book to the series, Trial by Heart, which I cannot comment on yet, and I have avoided reading any spoilers.

Updated Review (After reading the series in its entirety)-

I had forgotten what it felt like to feel so strongly from a work of fiction, and this series helped me feel again.

For that, I cannot recommend the series enough. I think that this is easy to get into regardless of your history with other vampire or werewolf books. Lizzy Ford does a good job of bringing a unique perspective to this genre, and Lillian Yves and Vincent Lee Grayson do a great job of bringing her characters to life.

I read this series more for the story than for the sex scenes - Other reviews have said that the sex scenes were either too much, or not enough. Personally? I didn't feel like they detracted from the story. I think that the sex scenes did a good job of illustrating the passion and emotional complexities that Leslie faced during her trials.

I enjoy the author's sense of humor. There were scenes that had me cracking up.

I genuinely could not put the books down. I felt anticipation, I felt happiness, I felt sadness, I felt goosebumps again.

Highly recommend.

HOT!

I was so enthralled by this story, I listened to it in one sitting. The plot was intriguing, the story was captivating, and the sex was hot! I can't wait for the second book to come out!

Just amazing!

Wow! What an incredible book! I could not stop listening! The storyline was so interesting. Quite steamy so be prepared for that! 🥵 The narrators did a phenomenal job of portraying these characters. I was blown away by the intensity they brought to life through their narration. So good!! I can’t wait for the next book in the series!

Awesome start

This book was so good it made me purchase the rest of the series, and this is rare for me. The rest of the series isn't in audio yet!!! I became emotionally invested in the characters and storyline. I wanted the outcome to be favorable . I can't wait to breeze through the rest of them to the end. This is a new to me author I will definitely be following and reading. Thanks for opening up new worlds to read. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrators did an amazing job bringing the characters and story to life.

Great Story

Quite nice

The plot is interesting with fun characters. I am not sure that I like how the male narrator did Ben's voice, it made him kind of creepy. I am interested to see how things go with Tristan.

Wonderful, original, hot and fabulous!

A Vampire, a Fae, and a Werewolf walk into a bar….Leslie has the daunting task of selecting the next leader of the supernatural community and these are the three in the running. According to ancient law, Leslie must spend a week as the mate of each as their … uh … interview. First up is Ben the Werewolf, very tall, very strong, very alpha Ben. I for one am in love with Ben. This story is hot as hades, laugh out loud funny, about as witty as it gets and fabulously narrated. I can honestly say I was saddened when it ended and I can’t wait for the rest of the series to come out in audio! Five fabulous stars!

Loved this

First on the story. I loved it I am a huge fan of Lizzie’s writing and this book was no different I can’t wait to read or listen to the next book.
Now on the narration ohhh they did amazing get like they flowed well I love how he had read his parts though out the book and not just one chapter at a time. Lillian was amazing with her narration and I loveeed the passion they had.

The most original story line this year!

I enjoyed this book thoroughly. The story has many angles, but it was told from one point of you witch I prefer. The listener can follow along how the main character finds her way through the trial and discovers her real heritage and worlds secrets.

I was so completely hooked that I bought all the series in kindle. I am sensing some interesting evenings in my future.

Great Steamy Paranormal Romance!

This was my first Lizzy Ford's book, and won't be my last. This is the first book in the Trial Series, a Paranormal Romance. Leslie's quest is entertaining, and enthralling. Ben is alpha, dominant, and enigmatic. They share a sizzling chemistry. The characters are well developed. The world building is original, refreshing, and fantastic. Lillian Yves and Vincent Lee Grayson did an amazing job with the narration. This is a great start to the Series, and I am looking forward to listening to the next book in the Series, to know what happens next. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily written this review.
