Jack sets a date!

I've read all of Jack Jr. (and Sr.) books. They are always exciting, funny, and thought provoking. I don't want to pick a favorite, but Patriot Games probably wins out. Even after close to two dozen in this series they are still keeping up the standards across the board. Thanks Tom and company!

He follows the Clancy writing style. Slow at times but worth the wait at its conclusion. Great read! I can certainly recommend this book.

Great until the last paragraph

I’m getting pretty sick and tired of the authors screwing over Jack’s relationship status. I’m about to stop reading the books as it tends to remind me of my own failed relationships. other than that story was great but the end absolutely ruined the book and left me raging at the authors

the reader did a great job with all of the different accents for the characters!!

The performance and story are excellent.

I would like to correct on small detail during the early portion of the book. I am listening to the audio version of the book because I am drving and do not have a page number for reference, and I will be paraphrasing a bit, but the author mentions Dan Murray having both hand wrapped around the "podium" as he was addressing a group of new FBI agents. A podium is the platform a speaker stands on and the "lectern" is what a standing speaker would be in front of.

The book is very good!

The URC is back

A welcome addition to the world Tom Clancy created, and, a sequel to Dead or Alive as well. Like father like son. Will be sure to read the books that come after, having been a Clancy fan since my teens

Even with Tom gone from this earth, you keep his spark alive with great story lines.

The action

I would like a little less explanation of things in general. Alison please don’t spend a lot of time on explanation.

good one, really. But why rushing the end

I really enjoyed this adventure. I was able to morph myself back into India and their friendly people (good memories).
Even the persisting way, some servants behave.
And the author really continued the style set for this series, and I hope he will write another one soon.
A pleasure listening to details, if it comes to weapons and such.
Desccription of fabrics, skin and so on.
And then all of a sudden a rush towards the end, almost like I missed a chapter, or two.
Maybe it is by purpose to sum the story up only in the epilogue.
