To Catch a Witch

I believe this is the first book I've listened to written by Heather Blake. The narration by Colleen Marlo was excellent, spot on! Obviously I listened to the audiobook today as I had to work most of the day. The characters have depth and likeability as they are brought to life by Colleen Marlo. A wonderful murder mystery that takes place in a village inhabited primarily by witches, tho not all. Easy to recommend, has no heavy sex scenes so is therefore fine for the teen reader to adult. Fun & lighthearted! 😍

Excellent Witchy Mystery

The story is well written and with Coleen Marlo it comes to life. The characters and twisted a plot are engaging and intriguing. I am voluntarily leaving my honest unbiased review.

Recommended witchy adventure

Nicely narrated, l found this story entertaining and easy to listen to, as l love all things witchy it was right down my alley.

Love this series!

I was disappointed in how it ended! It did not make me happy. I don’t like having to get the next book to get a sense of closure. So I was a bit disappointed.

Good story lived the paranormal aspect

This is one mystery that has a interesting twist to the mix. Having not read or listened to any of the books that come before this one I was still able to follow the backstory for the main character and all the supporting characters. I would give this book a 4 out of 5 stars, it was well written with a different take on the a murder mystery that I haven't heard of before. The reason that I give this book a 4 out of 5 stars is because I was able to guess the "Who Done it" before the end of the book. This story is a Bell Pepper no heat or sexy scenes, just a few sweet moments throughout the story.
This story is well written and interesting, I have to say that it has interested me in the whole series. Leaving the book on a bit of a cliff hanger is something that will drive me to want to read the next book. But I think that I want to go back and read the beginning of the series, although it isn't nessary because this book is well written enought that you can figure out the history with the characters. I loved the new twist on the world of mysteries, adding the Super Natural aspect to the story makes it new and intriguing. The Witchcraft aspect has a changed the whole situation of the murder, it makes investigating the murder more dangerous. It's bad enough to have to find a regular murder, but adding in the Super Natural aspect adds to the fear and stress.

I would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys a little Super Natural and a lot of mystery. There really isn't much of a romance in this book, but there are the touches and the information that shows that in previous books the romance played out. The twists and turns as well as the way that the Super Natural aspects of the book play out, makes for a more interesting.

Fun and Engaging...

Love what's going on with Harpers character, that was a nice surprise! The stories are fun and engaging, not too complicated. Perfect for bedtime listening...although I was up with the last couple of chapters to see if I was right about the murderer ;) I hope the series continues, would love to see what happens next!

I love this series! Heather Blake/Webber has created a fun and imaginative world and Coleen Marlo really brings it to life. To Catch a Witch continues to follow the lives of the lovable residents of the Enchanted Village. This cozy mystery is a read everyone can enjoy. Be warned though, it'll have you counting down the days until the release of book 9!
