When a mysterious time capsule leads a Toronto teacher to England, she discovers some loves are worth crossing oceans—and decades—to find, from New York Times bestselling author Hannah Bonam-Young.

When a history teacher receives a letter from her deceased grandmother revealing a secret love affair in the 1950s, it leads her to a time capsule hidden decades ago. But it’s the charming grandson of her grandmother’s lost love who changes everything, proving that sometimes the heart knows exactly where—and when—it belongs.

Hannah Bonam-Young’s Time Will Tell is part of The Improbable Meet-Cute: Second Chances, stories for star-crossed lovers and hopeless romantics. They can be read or listened to in one sitting. Let’s do it again.

I love Hannah Bonam Young! However, I was a little bummed by this book. I liked the concept of long distance meeting someone, getting to know them, and falling in love. It was neat to hear their conversations through a variety of ways (email, calling, and in person). But it just fell a little flat. The narrators Victoria Connolly and Maxim Reston fit the characters well. The accents were a great match. The book being recorded as Duet was chef’s kiss!

Meh, especially for Hannah Bonam Young

This was such a cute and fun book to read. It was quick, enjoyable and unique. This was my first book by Hannah Bonam-Young and I will be looking to read more books she wrote. The audiobook narrators did an amazing job bringing this story to life. It was done in duet and it was very enjoyable. The MMCs accent was adorable. I highly recommend this book and audiobook.

Such a cute story

Time Will Tell is a cute strangers to lovers novella. Callum and Georgia’s grandmothers were in love, but due the bigotry of that time they didn’t end up together. After Georgia’s grandmother died, she received a letter from her telling about the woman she loved and a time capsule. Georgia finds the time capsule and tracks down Callum, the grandson of Georgia’s grandmother’s girlfriend, and they fall for each other to emails, texts and phone calls. It was a cute story.

This one was a 3.5 star novella. This one was cute and catching I enjoyed the representation in this book. I felt that it was a little far fetched but that's the nature of these valentines day novelllas.

This was an earnest, but ultimately nice and harmless little nugget, going from emails to phone, to in-person meet-cute super quick, and then finishing with an epilogue to summarize the HEA. With only one kiss and a tame swear word, this is a cozy listen.

The core plot is LGBTQ supportive. There are gentle digs about tolerance, proliferation of social media, and redheads. If this was book length, I have a feeling I’d find it too flower-child preachy and saccharine sweet. But, at novella length, the descriptions of astrological signs by two MCs who are supposedly academics went down easy.
