Resumen del Editor

Bobby N. Kowen is living his life to the fullest. He’s making friends, he’s learning new things all the time, he’s falling in love, he’s having adventures. He’s doing more in a single week than most of us experience in a lifetime.

But that’s the thing. That one week is all that Bobby has. Birth to death...in just seven days.

Bobby’s life is truly a race against time. No one who meets him will ever be the same. And they will each wonder: Do we live too long to really appreciate how precious life is?

Wow.

What an amazing short story that reminds us to appreciate the time we have and to make the most of it. I hope this book gets a well deserved movie adaptation.

Overall cute story

Surprisingly good story line. I could do without the swearing but it was minimal so I still enjoyed it.

So Unexpectedly Great!

What an amazingly great little novella. I was invested before I knew it and could not stop listening. Just a wonderfully written too short story, but perfectly ended. If we could value each sunrise and sunset as Bobby did we would be better people. if we could do as much in our long life as Bobby did in his short few days , think about how much better the world would be. this is such a rewarding story I truly loved this and will listen again, probably more than just once.

Truly unique, exactly what I wanted

I loved this book. This is exactly what I want in an Audible Original. The length was perfect (one personal-sized jigsaw puzzle length). This story isn’t a mystery, isn’t a love story, isn’t any kind of “wash, rinse, repeat” trope. It’s the kind of story that you’ll kind of always just remember. I’m very happy to have found it. What a very cool story! It was fartastic. ;-) Worth every single minute.

Compelling life story

I am in awe of this writer’s insight into humanity. This book could be a guide to living everyday life. I read a lot and this leaves me breathless.

Listen with a child's wonder

Every person should probably listen to this book. Especially kids around puberty. It's an entirely made up, unbelievable scenario. The kind that makes you keep thinking "that's not even remotely possible, " but it doesn't matter to the story. If it makes you think differently about the time you have here in this lifetime, then it's done what it set out to do.

Thought-provoking

What a special, meaningful, heart-warming and moving story! So much food for thought. My mind is still whirring. I got a jolt when one of my own key maxims (I even bear the tattoo) was mentioned - "perspective is everything". I have no doubt that this book will make you re-appreciate your life and look at it things differently - in a good way.
The narration was top notch.
