Second chance romance

I really enjoyed listening to this second chance romance. Taryn and Reagan's chemistry was hot, but their relationship was an emotional rollercoaster, This story contains drama, great practical jokes, steamy scenes, and a very nasty villian. The Caldwell brothers will doing anything to help each other. Can't wait to listen to the next in the series.

Loved it!

I totally loved this book when I read it. Listening to it was even better! There's just something about hearing an audiobook that brings the words and characters to life. Tightwad is completely entertaining - hilarious pranks, sarcastic wit, and steamy chemistry all while trying to take down a Vegas mobster. I undoubtedly recommend downloading this book. It's simply a joy!

Tightwad, by Colleen Charles, is a tremendous standalone romance that continues the saga of the Caldwell brothers. This is the 2nd book and it's Reagan's story. Reagan is a top contract lawyer in New York City and his brother, Nixon, needs him back home in Las Vegas. His casino, the Armonico, is once again having legal trouble with Dante Giovanetti, the owner of the Mona Lisa, Nix's competition. Taryn Mitchell owns Strict Boutique Necessaire, a high end women's shop that carries the clothing of some of the most sought after designers and manufacturers. It is her dream to design and create her own line of clothing. She has a secret that she is terrified will cause her dreams to come crashing down. She danced in a nightclub in the past in order to pay her bills and her strict upbringing in a small town in South Dakota has her worried that she'll be considered disreputable. The first time Reagan spots her dancing on stage in the casino, he doesn't remember that she's the girl he fantasized over in college at UNLV. As soon as he does, he's going to make sure that she remembers him! And remember him, she does. This time he's an entirely different man and she wants to get to know him again. She and Reagan are thrown together when the benefit they were planning, benefitting Helping Hands and Hearts, is sabotaged. Lincoln (Linc), the youngest Caldwell brother, has cerebral palsy and this charity was created in his honor. Everything goes wrong from the very start and they know it has to be Dante sabotaging their style show. Ford, a tech genius and another Caldwell, takes care of the situation with his expertise. Taryn's show and her own designs are a smash hit! Now, she and Reagan have to decide where their future is heading. Who knew Reagan could be such a precious softy! The ending is perfect and the epilogue....uh, oh! Here we go again....... This audiobook is splendidly narrated by Zac Aleman. I particularly enjoyed the many accents he was able to deliver. He has become one of my favorite narrators!

Great listen, kept me glued to the story!

I really enjoyed this listen. I had previously read the book but it has been a little while. The audio took it up a notch! The narrator did a great job with the voices and conveying the emotion from the story.

I loved Taryn and Reagan. They were such a great match and their story was such a ride. There was definetly some drama to keep you on your toes. There were a few steamy scenes. Dante creates the character you love to hate and brings another level to the story. I would recommend this listen if you are looking for a great story that will keep you engaged from the start to finish!

A great second chance romance

I really enjoyed this book. It is the second book in this series and I do recommend that you enjoy these books in order. Reagan and Taryn's story is filled with plenty of drama, intensity, secrets, steamy heat, heart, and humor. I thought that Reagan was awesome! I love a hero that makes you swoon, laugh and melts your heart all at the same time. Taryn is feisty, sassy and more than up to the challenge of giving Reagan a run for his money. This second chance romance packs a solid emotional punch and plenty of heat. All and all, I felt this was a great book.
