The past and present collide along the rocky shores of Thunder Bay, where a father's unconditional love is tested by a son's deeply felt resentment, and where jealousy and revenge remain the code among men. As Cork hastens to uncover the truth and save his friend, he soon discovers that his own life is in danger and is reminded that the promises we keep - even for the best of friends - can sometimes place us in the hands of our worst enemies.

Wonderful Story

I could not stop listening to this wonderful story. Going back to Audible to get another today.

AWESOME READ

This was the best book in the series by far, in my opinion, and I am reading them in order. I also thoroughly enjoy the narration of David Chandler. The voices match the characters, which is so important when listening to a book, am I right? Anyway, it’s a great listen or read.

I felt it started off very slow but I was very involved in the whole story. I was sad to see it and but gladly outcome had been good for the main character at least goodread

Great listen good characters. Recommend this work for anyone that likes a mystery. Wished it was longer.

Gun control, anti abortion, and Incorrect facts...

I feel like everyone is Entitled to their opinion.But if you back your opinion with facts,I feel like they should be real. This book is about Gun control,anti abortion, and a few other hot button topics. Although all the facts are made up. So if you like Political preaching throughout your book, this is the 1 for you.

So far excellent series

Krueger tells intricate woven storylines. His characters are very human and real. Another great listen.

Books 1,2 and 7 are good entertainment. These were included and I really enjoyed them

Another good story in the series

I was worried at the start of the story bu the change to first person narration, but as the story unfolded and takes we’re told it flowed nicely.

It doesn’t get any better than this!

This is the perfect combination of a master storyteller and a voice that can bring characters to life.
There is also much to process in this terrific story .
