Outstanding

Not merely one of the finest travelogues I’ve ever read; one of the finest books I’ve ever read, period.

Great story about travel and exploration

It somehow reminded me of Roald Dahl’s autobiography, Going Solo. Only it is is a modern version, with a bicycle, different setting and each their own great stories that come with travel. I loved the accounts of Charlie finding more adventure in meeting locals, falling in love abroad, getting into hairy situations, more than the things people glorify about traveling. Highly recommend it.

This is an incredibly Inspiring story. Well told from top to bottom scary and funny at times, but always interesting and motivating. I can’t wait to go on my own adventure after listening to this. Forever grateful for Charlie’s courage & openness.

Incredible adventure

A very enjoyable adventure exploring many countries and cultures. I loved hearing about the kind people who took Charlie in and how a common thread of human decency seemingly saved his life countless times. Much more than a bike trip, an adventure of a lifetime.

I think i decided on purpose to listen to the books backwards

Im 32 life’s going great i have freedom money to pay my bills friends a great girlfriend and a bit of stability after years of having to take care of my grandma and grandpa in there final years I knew this would be the start of freedom. After listening to the author on joe rogan i think i decided to to follow in the footsteps or more so the peddle strokes of so many. Im glad i found these books, I couldn’t recommend this more to anyone that is bored with life !!!!!! Henry_reef ig lets see if i actually go through with it. Ive told no one but the void and this review i rather be the only voice that doubts.

Wonderlust tale

I love the book and I’m very grateful that Charlie himself is the narrator. As a fellow traveler and seeker of the behind the scenes I can only imagine how much didn’t make it into the book. This book is honest and authentic - and as we let my own wonder lust and reminded me the many times you don’t need to know what you’re doing or why. just need to know how to take the next step

Wonderful book!!

I'll listen to a lot of books through Audible... and this has to be one of my favorites! it is such a great story and very well put together!!. The author did a great job writing and reading this book himself which is always a plus!!
