Follow the breadcrumbs! Instant classic! Amazing story that I didn’t want to end. You had me at “homeless”’

A nail-biting inspiring journey!

I am seriously blown away at this book. From start to finish I found myself saying “whaaatt??” “That really happened??” “Oh no!!!!” ... seriously I’m surprised this book hasn’t been turned into a Netflix movie!!
It really left me inspired & thinking how I could chase freedom and a life on my own terms. Because of her stepping into her power and truth, I felt permission to do the same.
If you’re tired of the same ole same ole and looking for a sign to get you out of that rut.. THIS book is IT!!

This book is a great read for men and women alike.

This book was not only inspirational but also touching. I sense the realism and spiritual battles throughout her journey. I will definitely listen to this audible book multiple times over because it’s something that I can relate to.

This WILL be a Hollywood movie!!

I give this 10 x 10 stars 💫 🙌🏽. Look, I don’t really write reviews, but must do so on this book! I’m excited to do so and will try not to give away spoilers.

There is something so incredibly raw and magical the way the author opens up this book. It makes you feel like she’s speaking dialogue that you’ve had yourself. The times you’ve had contemplating to take a trip, and boom, here’s someone taking the plunge. I love living vicariously through Shawna. Feels so real to me and that’s what I appreciate so much about this book. I’ve never been to Egypt, but now have glimpse of it. Plus more. I’m even more motivated to visit and honor the sacred places the author wrote about.

As an avid reader and journalist— I’d like to add that there is a fantastic balance of adventure, love and what I describe as “life’s magic” or Shawna’s magic. This magic shows up for Shawna right when she needs it the most. As the reader, you’re happy for her and it also reminds you of trusting in your own journey. And trusting that you’re own magic will meet you and help you too.

This is why I say it WILL be a Hollywood movie, and damn well should be. We (the readers) get a real real freakin’ great story in ‘Black Gypsy.” You feel the heartache, the suspense, and growth— all while traveling the world with Shawna. This book will leave you excited, motivated and wanting more.
To the author— bravo and yes ay! I give this all the stars, and umm I need a sequel! And a movie ticket :).

INSPIRING!

This book had so many lessons in it for me. The main lesson for me was to transform what has “happened to me” actually “happened for me.” I just have to be willing to see the mess in ALL the messages. I highly recommend this book to anyone who desires to travel, is a traveler and someone who’s looking to turn painful situations into life’s pleasurable experiences. Also, the lyrical rhymes brought joy to the listening experience. Loved it.
