Loved this book wish I had the paper book. I really enjoyed listening to how the author relived every experience whilst reading. Kerry’s story made me feel alive again, I’m inspired by her tenacity and openness to live irrespective of what she has been through.

Well written, honest

Firstly, I’m a bit biased because I love Kerry, I love Olivia Pope and I enjoyed the book. It is very well written. Love how she approaches every acting role by relating with her own life experience. Her life story is not super juicy, but it’s honest and it’s her truth and very well told. Also, I just started watching Scandal again from episode 1 after finishing this book. Ok bye 👋🏾

Beautiful Honesty

I’ve been a relaxed fan of Kerry’s for years. When I say relaxed, I mean any time she was brought to my attention I noted her talent and knew whatever she was in wouldn’t let me down. After this, I’m slightly less relaxed. Loved all the beautiful metaphors and descriptive language throughout. I truly appreciated how everything was woven together nicely to let you understand her, rather than just hear a bit of random stories. Each story had a purpose and made the puzzle complete. Really nicely written.

Vulnerable and Honest

I particularly enjoyed this book because I was listening at the same time as I was rewatching Scandal :)! I love how Kerry was vulnerable while also only divulging information about her life on an almost need-to-know basis. It was raw and honest. Thank you for sharing your life with us!

Unputdownable!!!

Kerry's brutal honesty and her innate ability to describe a scene with such specificity and colorful descriptors make for delightful listening. Not to mention, the fact that she narrated it herself made it an absolute joy to listen to and learn from, whilst at times drawing paralells with one's own life experiences.
