Now Kalinka must set out on a treacherous journey across the frozen forest to save the only two surviving horses - and herself.

Great

It was sad at times but beautifully written and a heart warming story in such a very real very dark and horrid time! Personally I am a horse lover and felt so sorry for the horses in this book, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend it to others!!!
