Clear introduction on St, John of the Cross. I thought the author was able to make the material understandable to the modern reader while remaining true to the teaching of St. John. She is a gifted teacher and easy to follow. Highly recommend.

I loved it. it was so inspirational and uplifting. I learned about the arrid times of the soul. these are very valuable teaching moments. also that God is at the center of us. this book is very valuable for a serious student of how to get closer to God.
