Up until now, Sean has only been fighting battles. He's been fighting them against the demons coming through temporary gates, demonically backed agencies, magic users, or even just plain crazies. A gateway through which millions of demons will be coming to conquer the world.

Supplies need to be organized, and bureaucrats must be dealt with. Plans must be made and often updated as more and more is learned about their enemies and their allies. It's a tall order for a young man who is barely past his 22nd birthday, lion or not.

The war has begun in earnest. The main gateway has opened and the minions of the Onderwereld are starting to come through in greater and greater numbers. For now they can hold them off, but when your enemy just reincarnates a week after you kill them, what can you do? It's a war of attrition for Sean's side, a war that will come with a very high price.

However, Sean knows that there are weapons that can kill a demon so that it can't respawn and he's bound and determined to get them, even if it means going back through a gateway. He just has to find a way to sneak past a million demons and then run around their home without getting caught. But he still has a few extra cards up his sleeve to play in this game.

i wish there were explicit sex :(

Great continuation

Great continuation of the series. The narration was good as usual, and the story was really good as well

cant wait for the next book, I am sad that we are almost done with this great story though, really loving it.

Can't wait to see how it all comes around

I'm looking forward to hearing how the series comes to a close. However, I also hate to see it coming to an end. Either way I hope to find more wonderful series from Stryvant.

Excellent

I love this series and this is a excellent step along the path. The plot is increasingly engaging and side plots are resolved and re-invigorated. The Valens Legacy is totally addicting to me and I’m sure I’ll return to it for years to come, the characters have become old friends by now that I don’t want to lose touch with. Leland King’s narration is marvelous he has become the voice of the Valens Legacy by now. If you have listened this long to this series you know how great it is and if you are looking for a great series pick this one up you won’t regret it! One more book to go! I can’t wait!

Did not see that coming!!!!!!

Another great couple of books in this series. I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen next. As for these there are few surprises that no one could ever see coming.
