What did you love best about The Transforming Power of the Gospel?
Jerry Bridges relates the Truth of the Gospel in a way that makes it simple to understand and very relevant to today
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Transforming Power of the Gospel?
Although he was discussing age-old Biblical concepts, each chapter totally held my attention.
Which scene was your favorite?
This was not that kind of book
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Not really. I wanted to listen, then contemplate for awhile before I took in more.
Any additional comments?
I suggest also buying (as I did) the paper copy of this book because of all the Scripture references. I want to have it on my bookshelf for future reference. It is timeless.

Words Fall Like Grace
Jerry Bridges is such a gifted writer. He understands the Gospel and our need to use it for our transformation. Ray Porter does a great job taking those words and having them fall like grace upon your ears…

Impactful
I appreciated how Jerry broke down each section and spent a good amount of time on it. It was very helpful to me and had me thinking about the Gospel and how that is motivation for godly living.

Wow. Definitely a Must Read for Any Serious Believer in Jesus Christ.
I loved this Book. Chapter 4 was amazing.
This book has helped change my life. Taking me deeper into prayer and into scripture (as this book is loaded with Scripture) I highly recommend this book to anybody wanting to know more how the Gospel can change their life!

Good read
Great recap of the power of the Gospel and seeking God’s will. The first few chapters had the most meat for me. Good to refresh and rehear again and again the power of the gospel. I learned a lot.
