Lots of prescience for its age

Wells nails a lot about class dynamics even now 130 years later. The end is charming with its whimsy but the meat of the story is it’s commentary, which is as good as any written today.

Time again

I always loved this story. I can imagine it well in my head and dream of it being modernized.

Finally some context for that Simpsons episode

Not an amazing story on its own merits but still worth a listen to discover the origin of some modern stories.

The narration was just okay.

Great Clasic

It has been so long since I last read this book that I had forgotten it. The audible version was a nice way to recount the story. The performance was very good and kept me engaged.

Yes, this is an easy listen and is a great, classic book. It wasn't what I expected, but I enjoyed where the story went.

Could have definitely finished this book in one go. It was easy to digest and enlisted beautiful imagery.

Interesting but probably less fantastic 127 years into its own future. People read more then.

Great story! It answer two questions: What happens if we cease to fight; and what sort of simple inventory will serve as a testimony of the human nature...
