Excellent Performance of Two Classics

You're probably familiar with these stories, their status as classics, and their importance to our culture. If not, all I have to say is that you must listen to them, because they're some important works that are commonly referenced. By today's standards, they remain fascinating.

This performance of them is Excellent. They're presented unabridged, with music and sound effects that do well to set the atmosphere. Kevin Theis does well on these, and I'd look for more from him or this publisher.

I'm planning to share these with my family, because it's such a good presentation of some essential tales.

Great classics performed by an excellent narrator.

Together in one edition or enjoyed separately... well worth your time.

An amazing double feature!

I love HG Wells but never actually finished reading either of these books. These stories still hold up very well and the production value of this audio book in particular is amazing. Love the narrator, there's sound effects, and music too. Very immersive and they're both short so they're easy listens too.

exceptional science fiction

I've seen the modern film iterations of both these tales, both of which I like regardless of the film critics POV. The unadulterated word of the stories themselves can not be beat, however.
