Sad story in a way. Father did not deserve the father daughter dance. He really did not care for daughter. I agree with sister father not needed ,at this time in life. Everything all about his true daughter and what she wants.

The mark of a true story teller
Carolyn Brown has done again !!!! Carolyn brown usually enters stories that run around eight hours even though this book is under four hours it has the same magic that only a word master could obtain.
The characters are her usual hard working, Hod fearing and hard loving as usual only without the ranching.
As always I fall in love with the story and will listen again and again

What was wrong with the sound?
It sounded like it was narrated by an AI. I kept trying to adjust the speed but it was on 1. The story was cheesy anyway.

Do not waste your time or money
I really enjoyed this author in the past, and anticipated an easy read, but this book was completely predictable, absolutely nothing imaginative.

Less than 3 hours - squeaky narration. Not worth $20
Really - less than 3 hours? Seems like the author is just throwing out a quick book for money. Lacking in story and character development of her other books. Disappointed!

Struggled to finish it
This is not what I would usually expect from this author period there was no depth filling or good story line. It was rushed. It had no arc to the story. I could barely get through the book with the narrator's grading voice.
