What a Waste of time
This book had nothing of interest, The narrator sounds like a child and the subject was a trivial romance. Not a typical Carolyn Brown fun Texas adventure. I actually paid $$ in order not to use my credit or else I would return it!

The mark of a true story teller
Carolyn Brown has done again !!!! Carolyn brown usually enters stories that run around eight hours even though this book is under four hours it has the same magic that only a word master could obtain.
The characters are her usual hard working, Hod fearing and hard loving as usual only without the ranching.
As always I fall in love with the story and will listen again and again

What was wrong with the sound?
It sounded like it was narrated by an AI. I kept trying to adjust the speed but it was on 1. The story was cheesy anyway.

Struggled to finish it
This is not what I would usually expect from this author period there was no depth filling or good story line. It was rushed. It had no arc to the story. I could barely get through the book with the narrator's grading voice.
