Great Book

OMG!! MacGregor's story was worth listening to. I highly recommend reading or listening to this book, you won't be disappointed. Getting the information on the pack before the daughter of the deceased alpha made a decision to take over. Loved It, Mason Lloyd did a great job narrating.

Oh this was fun to read it's about mac & tarker's hollow before Ainsley Connor came home to be alpha that was an awesome story to! But this one is great little mystery dinner party that has a lot of steamy sex lol you go mac lol I didn't know he had it in him or he was so young looking!

Whoa! Not a cozy! Not at all!

As of today, the summary still lists “cozy” along with “paranormal” and “romantic suspense,” but this is cozy only in the “no F bombs” sense. The sex takes you through every pant and finger, and is plentiful considering the novella length. Mr. MacGregor was developed enough, but the gals? Not so much. I didn’t think of this as a romance so much as a raunchy paranormal mystery novella. Decent enough on sale.

Its a quick little look into this world...I dont want to compare it...I like the series!!

He is a good narrator...I would listen to him anytime!!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

It was very quick..it was fun, sexy and had a mystery twist...I wasnt moved, but I liked it a lot!

Super cute story, sexy and short...if you have read the Curse of the alpha series...this one is a must listen also!! Mr Macgregor is sexy!!!

The Talented Mr MacGregor

What made the experience of listening to The Talented Mr. MacGregor the most enjoyable?

I am always impressed with Lloyd Mason's performance.

What did you like best about this story?

The humor and while short, it was satisfying.

The Narrator, Mason Lloyd, is one of my favorites. He never disappoints. Give him a book of Ms Black's and it's a double win.

Mac is a teacher, not the Alpha--at least he was. When his good friend and pack alpha is killed in an accident, he is appointed to stand in until the next in line daughter comes to take over or appoint a new Alpha. Not only is he unprepared for the job, he sure isn't prepared for the reaction by all the females--old and young. With his Alpha pushing out he isn't as good at resisting as he wants to be.

This is a fun mystery, with some humor and character insight. A short story is great to fill in the time when you are limited. Some aren't satisfying because of the length. Not so with Ms. Black, she entertains and fills in some blanks for her longer series set in Tarter's Hollow. It is fun to read about minor characters that interest but don't get enough play in the main story. Thank you, Ms. Black.

amusing short story

I was cracking up at the antics of some of the townsfolk. I'm glad I got this one after the main books, so I had an idea of who some of the people are. It was so entertaining to see what some of the other wolves were up to before the next alpha was chosen. Poor MacGregor, he really had some interesting moments lol.

Short Fun Novella!

This story is part of the A Tarker's Hollow Series. This is a fun and sexy novella, filled with mystery, twists and turns. I like Mac's story. Mason Lloyd did a great job with the narration. I enjoyed listening to this audiobook.

Steamy mystery

The Talented Mr. MacGregor is a quick steamy book, with lots of mystery. With MacGregor coming in to his temporary powers it has left the women of his pack pinning after him. When he falls for the wrong woman's charms he is left in the hot seat. His quick mind is able to come up with solution. Loved the narrator's voice!

Paranormal mystery

Loved the story. The narration was excellent. This story is part of a series. Not a stand alone.

What did you love best about The Talented Mr. MacGregor?

I enjoyed getting a further look into the characters at Tarker's Hollow and having listened to Curse of the Alpha before this I have a better understanding of the town now.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked how it was mostly about the alpha in Mr. MacGregor and how it was taking over his life causing him to do things he doesn't normally do. It made me think of Ainsley and how she struggled with it when she got to town and how it effected the whole pack.

What does Mason Lloyd bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Mason Lloyd, for me, brought some humor when he would read the female parts and change his tone of voice for each of the characters.

If you've listened to Curse of the Alpha, definitely give this a try as well. The mystery is interesting and what happens between the characters only pulled me in deeper to the town. I'll keep an eye out for more Tarker's Hollow books!
