Fell in love with this protagonist, I probably Iiked this better than the cruel prince. Recommend for sure.

Character history...

It's pronounced Low-rye-o-pea, not Larry-O-pea... this drove me absolutely crazy... It's a shame, I really tried to love this book, but it got the back ground wrong. Oak should be able to pronounce his birth mothers name...

black never disappoints

I love this book I hate that it ends on a cliffhanger but we all know that it would the story is beautifully written and very enjoyable

The narrator did such a good job and Holly Black once again killed it, as well.

Another amazing story by a Fairy queen, I love everything Holly black writes. I can't believe she did us like that with that cliff hammer ending I hope she writes like the wind.

really good!!

loved it and was easy to finish, there were a couple of a times the story didn't make sense and I could poke holes but overall pretty good; The person reading the book works really well with the character and I loved it! Definitely reading the next book.

The short book was a great tease. ! I enjoyed all this series and look forward to the next one.

I had missed Elfhame

I had desperately missed Elfhame and the Folk. I hoped for a bit more Cardan and Jude, but I found myself loving Oak and Wren. This story was a nostalgic trip through the world of the Fae. I loved so much of this book, but I’m taking off a star because of the ending. I’m not a fan of cliffhangers but I knew it’s what we would be facing, even so, I didn’t understand this “twist” even with it clearly coming. I’m hoping in the next book it makes more sense.
