once again the magic of Terry Brooks is brought to vivid life through the magical voice of Simon Vance. I can't wait for the final novel in the series!

I was on the edge of my seat for the entire read, on of the best I've read.

story flow

ending was too simple, the characters would be more prepared knowing there adversary. Especially after all they'd been through.

He is one of my all time favorite authors. Last book I read & listened to was the Stiehl Assassin, the fall of Shannara, book 3., The only bummer is book4 cant be obtained until October. I'm glad I've read all his books. This is the best way to re-listen to keep download& re-listen whenever I desire. Audible makes this process the easiest I've ever experienced. So ty for making my experience one of ease. Don't know how happy I am with this especially since I'm no were near tech savvy by any stretch of the word. The only thing I have hard time with is downloading them to my devices. Having said that I'd still rate Audible 5 stars because it could be me that is doing something wrong with the downloading them part. Odds is it is me so I can't blame anyone but me for that.<3

Great story!

Terry Brooks never disappoints. This is a great story and great series. I highly recommend it.

So many reasons for the story not to end

So many reasons for this book not to be the last.
1. the Skaar shouldn't take over the lands without a fight. 2. Drisker Arc knew the whole thing was a trap. 3. the land's have gone without much of a druid presence before 4. the magic has come into the lands when needed 5. Tarsha should have seen it coming knowing it to be a trap and been prepared 6. it has been too good a series to end so suddenly,. All in all - the narrator did a great job of voices and of the rise and fall of the excitement.

AMAZING!

I grew up reading Terry Brooks and have fond memories of reading them with my dad. Terry always finds a way to leave a book with an intense cliffhanger. My heart is incredibly sad that Shannara is ending. Terry has left legacies throughout his life that I hope last forever.
