Dyslexia has been misunderstood by many and hardly praised by any. The same is even more true for dyscalculia, which is another thing that leaves so many kids and adults frustrated. Having a hard time reading is definitely a part of being dyslexic, and I won't beat around the bush: It's not a good thing. However, what is often is perceived as a mere handicap by common ignoramuses is actually a deviant way of thinking - something that can trigger the involved individual to have hidden talents others may have underestimated.

It is suggested that boys are four times more likely to get a diagnosis of autism than girls. Autism does not discriminate; it affects all ethnicities and socio-economic groups. Perfect companion
This is the perfect companion for your spelling journey. Having a son as a speller the past 3 years I can say this book covers it all! All of the pitfalls and emotions, setbacks and questions that crop up are all in here. Even after 3 years as a parent and now a practitioner, I still found nuggets of information that were insightful and unexpected. Everyone in the spelling community should read this. I'm so glad to have this, I'm gifting a copy to all my clients.
