The purpose of Soul Survivor is to tell the real life story of Joe Townsend, who was flying one day with his family, and due to mechanical failure, the small plane he was piloting crashed - killing Joe’s wife and two small daughters. Joe was critically injured and survived brain injury, a stroke, hours of surgery, and months of physical and emotional pain to survive and then to thrive. Through grit and determination, he then began to rebuild a new life.
This inspirational real-life tale of overcoming adversity will get people to realize their own true potential. When they hear this story, they will understand that if one man can overcome this kind of horrific adversity, then anything in life is possible. There are no limits.

Inspiration for Facing Adversities in Life
I enjoyed listening to this true story of how Joe Townsend lost his entire family in an airplane crash. Joe is an overcomer and optimist. He is an enjoyable writer and the narration was equally enjoyable to listen to.
I was given this audiobook for an honest review.

Many insights into the soul
Wow, what a story! Amazing that Joe Townsend survived through the things that happened to him—enough to make you think it's better to close your eyes and die. It makes you wonder what you would do if you were in his place. This is a great story of survival, grief, trial, and spirituality. A great read for anyone needing a refresher on what's important in life. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
