A Beautiful and Timeless Story
A beautiful telling of a timeless story. I loved every moment and am sure to listen over and over now and into all the holiday seasons yet to come. From the very first lines, Michael Morpurgo's words and Richard Armitage's voice transport me back to my childhood, where magic was real, and anything was possible! "The Snowman" is delightful, whimsical, and so much fun for the entire family!

Classic for a Winter’s Day
A few years have gone by since I shared with younger students the video and book of The Snowman by Raymond Briggs. It had become a favorite of mine to share with children, but now I have found this version by Michael Morpurgo and I have fallen in love all over again with this longer and more elaborate telling of Jame’s snowman experience. Richard Armitage does an outstanding job with the telling of the story, too.
