I love the imaginative letters that Tolkien wrote to his children. I come back to this book every Christmas season and it’s special every time. May we all have that magic of childhood dreams!

The story is sweet, as you witness Tolkien expressing his love for his children through the voice of St. Nick. The narration was absolutely perfect, such that I can't even imagine a better one.

I love the fact that Father Christmas is called that instead of santa and the poler bear and the snow boys. It was a very nice story and good for Christmas time and just an amazing author I love Tolkien and his books and everything about his writings 🙃👍🏾

The premise of Old Saint Nick responding to the letters he has received is incredibly charming and the book delivers. The narration of Sir Derek Jacobi as Father Christmas makes an already delightful experience even more delightful.

Perfect for those who are in the holiday spirit.
