This is the third book in the series and the second one i listened to. I enjoyed it. It’s a twist on traditional mystery tropes. Sort of stock characters frosted with details about gourmet food and coffee obsession instead of detailed characterizations or descriptions but still good. I hope to listen to quite a few more of these mysteries but for now there are only 3.

Several appealing characters from previous books are involved in examining crimes that are related by place; but are they related by anything else? You must listen to find out.

The further I got into the book the more interesting it became and the more engaged I felt.

The second book in this three (so far) part series was better than the first and the third book is better than the second. I hope to hear more from this author.
