"Gripping...shocking." (New York Post)

Not my favorite Eve Duncan novel...

The story was ok but it wasn't about Eve and Joe and Jane. I had a hard time hearing the reader even with my volume at the max.

Quiet

I had to download a sound booster on my phone in order to listen to this. Not sure why it was so much quieter than other audio books I've listened to

It was well read, keeps you wanting more, don't want to stop listening till the end

Better Sarah voice in this one

Sarah’s voice in the last book made it seem like she was a 40 year old spinster who chain smoked. This voice fits her description much better. I really like this book because it had the minimal about of Eve Duncan 😂 when eve did show up one of the first things she did was blame Logan for her own problems. “You better find her!” Like hello it’s not his fault communication in your house is crap. AND no one called her out on it! Good storyline though and all the other characters were great!

Exciting and Fascinating Story

This books is one of the most interesting books I have read. It was Wonderful to learn about the rescue dogs.
Does anyone know of any other books about Rescue Dogs?? I have searched but can find Nothing. I would love some input.

Great suspense romance

This book had me hooked, if you have read or listened to Iris's books before you know the first chapter or two is jam packed with info on characters and data. Trust me when i tell you its worth getting past the chaos.
Lots of tragedy and suspense in this story on top of an amazing dog and his amazing owner. The twists and turns are great and i never expected the ending (i love it when that happens)
This is a standalone with no cliffhangers.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Just as I was getting into the book, it ended - at a very suspenseful and climactic part. There is either a big mistake in editing, or I was sold half a book in the disguise of a complete novel. I don't even know about the next book. Bummer, because it was getting pretty good.

Monty the dog.
