Bad a$$ follow up

This is a fantastic follow up to the Bladed Faith. I love how unique this story is, the characters, settings, it’s all a bit refreshing when fantasy novels can all kinda follow the same formula. Loved it

Better than the first!

The story is absolutely amazing and captivating and the way the second book is written and played out is so much better than the already great first book. The audio readers add that much more depth and feeling to the characters they truly feel like they come alive. I had originally started reading David’s series with the shadow dance series and this has become a close second favorite of mine in respect to the rest of his works (sorry you can’t beat the shadow dance series it’s just too good!)

Give me more

Can’t wait for the finale. This sequel was more of the same greatness as the first. I enjoy this cast of characters and I can always count on Dalglish to have some GIANT plot twists

Amazing Action!!

The action sequences are some of the best I’ve read. The characters are distinct and complex! A great read!

Good story bad narrating

I feel like I’m being read to like a child for half of the chapters like some teacher has to talk monotoned and slowly for little Timmy to understand what’s happening with some terrible fake dreamy voice
