Can’t wait for the finale. This sequel was more of the same greatness as the first. I enjoy this cast of characters and I can always count on Dalglish to have some GIANT plot twists

Bad a$$ follow up

This is a fantastic follow up to the Bladed Faith. I love how unique this story is, the characters, settings, it’s all a bit refreshing when fantasy novels can all kinda follow the same formula. Loved it

Female narrator strikes again

The female narrator still really hard to listen to I find it helps to speed up her chapters to 1.2 just to speed up the slow drawl she has

Better than the first!

The story is absolutely amazing and captivating and the way the second book is written and played out is so much better than the already great first book. The audio readers add that much more depth and feeling to the characters they truly feel like they come alive. I had originally started reading David’s series with the shadow dance series and this has become a close second favorite of mine in respect to the rest of his works (sorry you can’t beat the shadow dance series it’s just too good!)
