A Fine Piece of Horror Literature

This is just good old fashioned, "King" style, monster horror. Great book. I am also fond of how this author portrays women so accurately, in his novels. That is, irrational, emotional problems.

hard for me to finish

This is the kind of book I like to read, but this one was truly awful and I had to make myself finish it because I felt like I would be wasting my money otherwise. Don't waste your time. Perhaps it lost something in the abridgement, maybe the unabridged version would have been better but I didn't have the time for it.

A Fun Horror Book

The book is well written and the story is quick paced. There are some genuinely gruesome moments in the book and the situation the characters fins themselves in is desperate, tense, and sadistic. My biggest criticism is that the characters are not that fleshed out. It is hard to empathize with their situation when you do not have a good sense of who these people are. However, the dynamics of the group come into play through the course of the story and I found it to be quite original. I recommend this book. It is a good quick summer read/listen.

Poor choice

this is one of the most ridiculas book I have ever selected ..... a real poor choice for anyone with a mind above a ten year old.

Bad, very bad

Lets see, bad story, bad ending. I read to be entertained, not depressed. Spare me from future books by this guy. Total waste of time and money.
