In a culture driven by having and getting, our definition of "riches" has become grossly distorted.

For many, "being rich" could be defined simply as the accumulation of money. For others, it has become the ultimate goal of life. Commonly over simplistic

While Bentley is accurate on much of his biblical explanation and application, and the depth of his exposition on “the root” is insightful,
he’s joined those who over simplify this important topic, limiting his teaching to only the passages of scripture that support his understanding, and often adding opinion that is extra-biblical without distinction. God’s word is so much more dynamic on the subject of money than this work.
